The
events of recent days have only confirmed what you already suspected:
you are outraged. You are a reasonable person, but you have been pushed
too far by the complete failure to tackle head-on the threat posed by
the dark forces that lurk just beneath the surface of our society. 
Those
responsible must face up to the consequences of their actions. You will
no longer put up with buck-passing, and demand that all sides reach agreement
before it is too late. You will settle for nothing less.
The
authorities can shrug their faces and say "I don't know" all
they like: these rehashed old arguments must not be allowed to conceal
the real issue, which is that public outrage at the present state of affairs
has reached unprecedented levels.
